Buda To Hold Workshop For Public Input On Proposed Single Member District Boundary Lines

The workshop is a come-and-go format and attendees who wish to direct suggested boundary line adjustments will be provided an opportunity to sign in to do so.

In November of 2017, Buda voters approved an amendment to the City Charter for the city to transition to single-member districts. Buda City Council Places 2, 4, and 6 will be the first to switch from at-large to single-member districts.

On Thursday, May 10, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the City of Buda will conduct a Public Input Workshop. The workshop will give City Council and the public an opportunity to participate in an interactive exercise by which attendees can offer suggested adjustments to the boundary lines for the proposed Illustrative Plan before final consideration by City Council.

The workshop is a come-and-go format and attendees who wish to direct suggested boundary line adjustments will be provided an opportunity to sign in to do so.

A brief presentation will be provided two times throughout the evening regarding the parameters to be considered in the process to create the boundaries.
