Hays County Government Center To Close For Employee Gathering

The City of San Marcos Municipal Court and the state Community Services and Corrections Department (Adult Probation) located at the Government Center, will also be closed.

Hays County Courthouse, TX – Most County offices at the Government Center will be closed from Noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, December 7, for an employee holiday potluck lunch.

The City of San Marcos Municipal Court and the state Community Services and Corrections Department (Adult Probation) located at the Government Center, will also be closed.

The Elections Office will remain open so that anyone wishing to vote during that time will be accommodated. The Government Center, located at 712 S. Stagecoach Trail, San Marcos, serves as an early voting location for elections, including runoff elections currently in progress.

The polling location at the Hays County Government Center is open from 8 AM to 5 PM. Voters can see the full schedule for the temporary polling places here for the City of San Marcos.
