Dripping Springs High School Student Arrested For LSD Distribution

Within the last week, three Dripping Springs High School students have overdosed on LSD in separate incidents; the investigation by the Hays County Sheriff’s office has led to the arrest of an 18-year-old Dripping Springs High School Student.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office, within the past week, has responded to three separate drug overdose calls involving Dripping Springs High School students that had ingested lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD).

A subsequent investigation has led to the arrest of a Dripping Springs High School student identified as:

Alyssa Qualls w/f 18 years of age, a resident of Dripping Springs, TX

Qualls was arrested and charged with delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1A to a Child, a second-degree felony (Health and Safety Code 481.122), and Manufacture Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1A under 20 abuse units, a state jail felony (Health and Safety Code 481.1121 (b)(1))

Qualls has been booked into the Hays County Jail and is awaiting magistration. Nothing further will be released as the criminal investigation is ongoing.
