
Oak Hill Parkway traffic alerts, closures, detours for week of March 28
The TxDOT Austin District is overseeing the design and construction of Oak Hill Parkway. Atkins serves as TxDOT’s general engineering consultant, and Atlas will provide owner verification testing and inspection.
The Austin District plans, designs, builds, operates, and maintains the state transportation system in the following counties: Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Gillespie, Hays, Lee, Llano, Mason, Travis, and Williamson.
The Texas Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining 80,000 miles of road and supporting aviation, maritime, rail, and public transportation across the state.

Crews are active along the Oak Hill Parkway corridor.
• 3/22/22 – 9/18/22 — 9 AM to 3 PM
Continuous long-term closure: The right lane of the westbound US 290 frontage road will be temporarily closed between Boston Lane and Industrial Oaks Boulevard.
• 4/5/22 to 4/5/23
Continuous long-term closure: McCarty Lane from US 290 to Joe Tanner Lane will be closed. Drivers will be detoured to Joe Tanner Lane. April 2022 to Spring 2023 – dates
