UPDATE: 2 Dead “Murder-Suicide” Shooter at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio

UPDATE: 9:42 AM– Bexar County Sheriffs office tweeted “We have victims at Lackland Air Force Base, scene is still active”, 2 people confirmed dead.

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office just tweeted they are responding to reports of an active shooter at Joint Base-San Antonio Lackland Air Force Base.

 

 

There are reports that the base is presently on lockdown.

 

Local Valley High Elementary near the base is also on lock down at present time. KSAT reports students at local junior high and elementary are under cover of desks with lights off at this time.

 

The gates at 410 is location of activity.

 

 

The Bexar Country Sheriff also took to Twitter immediately to comment, though did not offer any confirmation or details about the rapidly unfolding situation.
