San Marcos Announces First Holiday Camp For Kids

Campers will participate in various holiday and recreational activities such as watching a holiday movie, gaga ball, and holiday games and crafts.

The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department presents the first ever Holiday Camp program for children 5-11 years of age on Dec. 28 and 29, 2017 and January 2 and 3, 2018.

The program will be held at San Marcos City Park Recreation Hall, 170 Charles Austin Dr. from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Registration is open and is taking place at the City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation office, 401 E. Hopkins. Parents and guardians have the option of choosing the days in which they need childcare, at the rate of $20 per child per day. This program has a limit of 25 spots per day available.

Campers will participate in various holiday and recreational activities such as watching a holiday movie, gaga ball, and holiday games and crafts. An afternoon snack will be provided each day to participants. Lunch and a morning snack must be provided from home.
