San Marcos PD Investigate Shooting Incident At The Woods Apartments, One Injured

The San Marcos Police Department is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at the Woods Apartment Complex.
According to police, one victim was shot multiple times in the leg by a person witnesses said was in a vehicle; the shooter then fled the area.
Police said the victim should survive thanks to the quick efforts of responding officers in applying a tourniquet to the wounds.
The investigation is ongoing; officials are asking everyone to avoid the area while police process the scene. This article will be updated as more information is released.
