San Marcos Police Seek Suspect In Aggravated Robbery
The suspect in the robbery fled from the business prior to SMPD arrival. Preliminary investigation revealed the suspect brandished a handgun to rob the business.
On Tuesday, Sep. 18 at about 11:10 p.m., San Marcos Police responded to a robbery alarm at Starbucks, 690 Centerpoint Road #101.
In addition, the business’ security system company contacted SMPD Dispatch with information that they were viewing live video at the location, and there was a robbery in progress.
The suspect in the robbery fled from the business prior to SMPD arrival.
Preliminary investigation revealed the suspect brandished a handgun to rob the business. Three Starbucks employees and one delivery driver were present during the robbery.
The suspect was described as a black male, unknown age, approx. 5’6” tall, who was wearing jeans, dark blue hooded sweatshirt, dark blue bandana covering his face, and black gloves. Photos and/or video of the suspect may be released at a later date.
