San Marcos To Host Open Mic Night For Local Musicians

Open Mic Night allows the city to showcase many of the established and developing entertainers of San Marcos in a park named after our local famous jazz musician, Eddie Durham.

Sounds of San Marcos Open Mic Night is Monday, September 11, 2017 at 7pm in Eddie Durham Park, 217 W. MLK Dr.

Local singer-songwriter Ashleigh Stone is MC of the free, two-hour event. The lineup features musicians Nix Nova, Sam Warden, John Zavala and Allen Sosa, Ryan Kennedy, and Dayann Pazmino and comedians Chris Orta and James Torres.

Open Mic Night allows the city to showcase many of the established and developing entertainers of San Marcos in a park named after our local famous jazz musician, Eddie Durham. Those attending are welcome to bring blankets, snacks, and refreshments. Glass, alcohol, styrofoam, and smoking are prohibited per our park rules.
