Boil Water Advisory Lifted for San Marcos Water, And Bacteriological Results

The boil water advisory issued on Wednesday, August 5 to City of San Marcos water customers north of the Blanco River is now lifted.
 
Bacteriological test results showed no contamination of the water and boiling of water is no longer necessary. Water customers with questions can contact the City’s water department at 512-393-8010.
 
The City issued the advisory for Blanco Vista Subdivision, Champions Boulevard, Technology Way, and 3209 N IH35 after a contractor hit a 16-inch water main on River Ridge Pkwy and emergency repair were required.
 
Water customers in the impacted area were notified using the City’s mass notification phone system.  To sign up for the notification log on the City’s website and visit the Emergency Management page.
