On October 9–11, 2018, hundreds of engineers, environmental managers, consultants, and members of the regulated community will gather to receive updates on permitting rules, requirements, and regulations at the first annual Autumn Environmental Conference & Expo.

This event combines the former Advanced Air Permitting and Water Quality/Stormwater Seminars and includes a one-day Waste Classification Workshop.

Wastewater/Stormwater Permitting attendees will begin Wednesday morning by receiving legislative updates, information on current rulemaking, updates on the Federal Rule 316b for Cooling Water Intake Structures, and revisions to the Texas Surface Water Quality Standards and Implementation Procedures.

Wednesday afternoon through Thursday, attendees may choose between the general session and three concurrent breakout sessions. Breakout sessions will include panel discussions with plenty of time for question and answer sessions.

Topics range from water quality investigations and enforcement, wastewater permitting, pretreatment, stormwater permitting, “hands on” step-by-step demonstrations on TCEQ’s Electronic Permitting (ePermits) for Stormwater, and on how to submit TPDES Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) through the NetDMR system. View the tentative AECE agenda for more information on session schedules.

The conference includes an exhibit hall featuring the latest environmental products and services. TCEQ technical staff will be on hand to answer water-related questions, and demonstrations of TCEQ water monitoring equipment will take place on both days.

Lunch is provided Thursday along with a guest speaker. Wastewater System Operators can receive up to 13.5 continuing education hours. Leaking petroleum storage tank corrective action project managers can received up to 4.5 continuing education hours.

Discounted registration is now open.

Attendees may register for Air Permitting AND Wastewater/Stormwater Permitting, Air Permitting only, Wastewater/Stormwater Permitting only, or Waste Classification. Prices will increase on September 14, 2018.
