The Zumper Austin Metro Area Report analyzed active listings in November 2020 across 8 metro cities to show the most and least expensive cities and cities with the fastest-growing rents.

The Texas one-bedroom median rent was $950 last month.

Austin was the most expensive city with one-bedrooms priced at $1,290.

Georgetown saw rent grow 0.9% to $1,170 and rank as the second priciest.

Cedar Park was third with rent at $1,140.

San Marcos ranked as the most affordable city with one-bedrooms priced at $930.

Round Rock was second with rent at $1,060.

Pflugerville ranked as the third least expensive with rent at $1,070.

Georgetown had the fastest-growing rent, up 10.4% since this time last year.

Kyle saw rent climb 5.8%, making it second.

Austin was third with rent increasing 4.9%.
