San Marcos Animal Shelter Sets Goal To Match 120 Pets To Forever Homes
The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter is offering a holiday adoption special of $20 for all adoption-ready pets through Tuesday, Dec. 22.
These are pets at the shelter or in foster care who are already spayed or neutered and can go home to their new family the same day.
“Our staff loves our animals and has set a goal of sending 120 pets to their forever homes before the Christmas holiday,” said Animal Shelter Supervisor Christie Banduch. “We hope that anyone who has been thinking about adding a new four-legged family member to their household will let us assist in finding their perfect match from the many cats and dogs currently available.”
Adoption Special Details

Staff is currently not placing any holds on adoptable animals over the phone or via email, so the best way to secure your furry friend is to stop by the shelter during adoption hours.

Animal Shelter Office Hours Adjusted
Starting on Monday, Dec. 7, the adoption center will close at 5 PM from Monday to Friday until further notice. Accommodations will be made when necessary and upon request.
The Intake and Reclaiming office hours are from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
