San Marcos Seeks Input On Connectivity & Mobility

The City of San Marcos invites the community to learn about the City’s new Transportation Master Plan, which will identify a road-map for future connectivity and mobility needs in San Marcos.

The City will hold a Transportation Master Plan Open House on Wednesday, November 9 at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view the Transportation Master Plan goals and vision, policy recommendations, the 2035 Thoroughfare Plan, the 2035 Bicycle Network, the 2035 Greenways, trails plan and other components of the master plan.

There will be no formal presentation, so residents are encouraged to attend anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. 

City staff will be available to assist citizens as they review and comment on the proposed plans and improvements.

Comments received will be compiled and incorporated into the master plan before presentation to the City Council in early 2017.
