City Of Buda Issues Fraudulent Job Postings Alert
BUDA, TX – The City of Buda has been made aware of a scam involving someone posting fraudulent City of Buda job openings.
A recent fraudulent post went up on ‘Indeed’ for a front desk receptionist position asking applicants to send a cover letter and resume to HRBuda@outlook.com.
This is not a legitimate City of Buda job opening. The posting has since been taken down by Indeed.
Job postings for the City of Buda should always link back to the City’s website.
Any email coming from the City of Buda would have the extension @ci.buda.tx.us. All official City of Buda job opportunities are posted on the City’s website at https://www.ci.buda.tx.us/92/Employment.
There are several questions that the City would NOT ask on a job application. This includes:
- Date of Birth
- Social Security Number
- Other Personal Identifying Information
