Wonder World Cave & Adventure Park Reopens

Wonder World Cave and Park reopened recently under Governor Greg Abbott’s health and safety guidelines.

According to park officials, they are adhering to the safety practices recommended by the CDC as well as following guidelines set by local and state health officials.

Wonder World Cave has worked to prepare facilities and protocols to be able to host visitors while keeping them and staff safe.

“We are offering our fully- guided tours of all the park’s attractions: Cave, Tour, Anti-Gravity House, and Train Ride thru Wildlife Park, as well as our retail shop & petting zoo,” park officials said in a release.

The park’s hours are 10 AM to 8 PM daily; visitors are encouraged everyone to book online in order to limit tour sizes and allow social distancing.

During the month of May, the park has extended its “local” train ride discount for all customers and is offering family field trips at discounted rates.

At this time, the park is donating tickets to organizations and/or non-profits as a community outreach effort. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the park for more information through the website.

“We have employed extra measures to increase the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection in higher traffic areas. We will be limiting the capacity of both group sizes and overall guests on the park grounds,” said Kristin Williams, park owner, and director. “Wonder World is dedicated to providing a fun and educational experience to our guests and we look forward to creating a safe excursion for families.”

Tours will be modified to carry out guest and employee health and safety.
