Citizen Survey Coming In Kyle Utility Bills

Citizen Survey Coming In Kyle Utility Bills

Budget season is just around the corner and Kyle City Manager Scott Sellers wants to know what the citizens of Kyle expect for their tax dollars.

“We want to know what our residents expect from their city government,” said Sellers. “This survey will help us gauge not only what our citizens think is important, but also their priorities. The information that we will gain from this survey will be shared with staff and council and will play in important role as we develop our budget for next year.”

The survey, which will be included in your next utility bill, also has a “bonus” question. Kyle residents will be asked about what makes, or can make, Kyle a destination city.

“We all know Kyle is a great place to live, work and play,” said Sellers. “However, we want to make Kyle an amazing destination and attraction for residents and visitors alike, a place where people from across the region, state and nation come to enjoy a unique feature that belongs specifically to Kyle. This is more than an event or one-time activity, but a concept that we can all rally around and own as our defining characteristic.”

Please take a few minutes, or longer, to complete the survey and brainstorm your most unique ideas and write them in your responses. You can return the survey through the mail, please be sure to attach a stamp, or bring it to any city building.

What about all of us who opted for paperless billing. Are they going to send the survey out to them?
