San Marcos CISD Releases Update On Operations Under State Public Health Disaster

Officials from San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District sent the following letter to parents Thursday after Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order closing all schools.

The order is in effect from 11:59 PM on March 20 to 11:59 PM on April 3. Abbott said the state will reevaluate the COVID-19 situation in Texas and determine whether it is necessary to extend the order then. 

The following update follows an emergency meeting held by the San Marcos CISD Board of Trustees.
