Buda Swears In Three City Council Members

In September, the city of Buda announced the cancellation of the City Council election as all candidates were unopposed in their races.

On Tuesday, November 20, the Buda City Council held the official swearing in ceremony for three of its council members.

Council Member Evan Ture, Mayor Pro-Tem Wiley Hopkins, and new Council Member Ray Bryant were sworn in.

Council Member Paul Daugereau will be sworn in at the December 4 City Council meeting. Daugereau, Hopkins, and Ture all ran unopposed in the November 6 General Election. Bryant ran unopposed to replace outgoing Council Member David Nuckels.

In September, the city of Buda announced the cancellation of the City Council election as all candidates were unopposed in their races.

At the June 5, 2018, City Council meeting, Council approved the district lines for Districts A, B, and C. These single member districts will be used as boundaries for electing City Councilmembers beginning with the November 2018 Election.

Daugereau, Hopkins, Ture, and Bryant join Mayor George Haehn, Council Member Lee Urbanovksy (Position 1 At-Large), and Council Member Remy Fallon (Position 2 At-Large) at the dais.
