BREAKING: Missing Person Located In Unincorporated Hays Country

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office has located a man who was reported missing during the Friday flooding in Hays County.

Officials say 73-year-old Douglas Wayne Phillips of Kyle was located at 9:15 a.m. this morning at the La Mexicana Store at 2790 Goforth Rd. in North Hays County. 

Phillips says was unable to leave the store Friday evening due to flooding.  He was not injured and was able to make it home safely with assistance from deputies. 

There are no other reports of missing individuals in Hays County due to flooding.
