San Marcos P&Z To Discuss New Development
On Tuesday, June 27, San Marcos Planning and Zoning will vote on the new Whisper Texas Planned Development District, or PDD.
The district will be located on the north side of town and will encompass 706 acres between Harris Hill Road and Interstate 35.
Planner Amanda Hernandez gave a presentation on June 13 about the proposed PDD. According to Hernandez, the development will include single-family to industrial properties.
During their meeting, San Marcos City Council approved the creation of a public improvement district to help finance road improvements and water and waste water infrastructure.
Tuesday’s meeting will include a public hearing.
