Hays County Offices Closed November 21-23 for holiday
Hays County offices will be closed Wednesday, November 21 through Friday, November 23, for Thanksgiving. Offices will reopen at their regular times on Monday, November 26.
Commissioners Court will be held on Tuesday, November 20, but will not be held on Tuesday, November 27.
San Marcos City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving
City of San Marcos offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, for the Thanksgiving Holiday, with Thursday and Friday garbage collection postponed for a day.
San Marcos Municipal Court, located at the Hays County Government Center at 712 South Stagecoach Road, will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 21 in addition to Nov. 22 and 23 to coincide with the Hays County holiday facility closings.
Residential trash and recycling pick up by Texas Disposal Systems will be rolled from Thursday to Friday, and Friday’s pick up will be moved to Saturday. Regularly scheduled Saturday residential pickup will remain the same. Residents should have containers at the curb by 7 a.m.
The Animal Shelter will be closed from Thursday, Nov. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 25. Emergency animal services can be contacted by calling the San Marcos Police Department non-emergency line at 512.753.2108.
The Activity Center will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and open for regular hours on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The Library will be open for normal Saturday and Sunday hours. Other offices will reopen at usual times on Monday, Nov. 26.
City of Buda
All city offices, including City Hall, City Hall Annex, and Stagecoach House and Visitors Center, will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2018 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The library will close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
City of Kyle
All city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2018 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
City of Wimberley
All city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2018 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
City of Dripping Springs
All city offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2018 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Texas Disposal Systems
As in previous years, TDS will be running a modified holiday schedule during Thanksgiving. All residential services on Thursday, November 22, will be completed on Friday, November 23.
All residential services on Friday, November 23, will be completed on Saturday, November 24. All Saturday services will be completed as normal.
