for Week of March 31 – April 5
I-35 AT POSEY ROAD
PROJECT OVERVIEW | This project will construct a new overpass on I-35 over Posey Road, add two new U-turns in each direction at Posey Road, perform ramp reversals and convert two-way frontage roads to one-way.
Currently, the I-35 mainlanes go under Posey Road. The new configuration will have the I-35 mainlanes going over Posey Road.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The project will reconstruct the bridge structures at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, as well as the frontage road bridge over Williamson Creek.
New U-turn bridges will be added in both directions at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, and the I-35 mainlanes will be widened to incorporate shoulders and extended entrance/exit lanes to allow for better merging.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements are also being made, and new safety lighting is being installed.

- Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed daily between William Cannon Drive and Foremost Drive. | Monday, April 1 through Friday April 5 from 9 AM to 3 PM
- Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily between William Cannon Drive and Boggy Creek Drive. | Monday, April 1 through Friday April 5 from 9 AM to 3 PM
- Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed daily between Nelms Drive and Stassney Lane. | Monday, April 1 through Friday April 5 from 9 AM to 3 PM
- William Cannon Drive right turn lane closed at I-35. | Until Friday, April 19

I-35 AT OLTORF ST.
PROJECT OVERVIEW | Improvements include the reconstruction of the Oltorf Street bridge, improving entrance/exit ramps and frontage roads.
Additionally, construction of new extended entrance/exit lanes for mainlanes and ramps, and adding U-turns in both directions at Oltorf Street.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements will also be made along the I-35 frontage roads in each direction within the project limits.

- Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed nightly at Woodland Avenue. The Woodland Avenue exit ramp (#232B) will also be closed. | Sunday, March 31 through Friday, April 5 from 8 PM to 5 AM
- Southbound I-35 right lane closed between Woodland Avenue and Oltorf Street. The entrance ramp before Oltorf street will also be closed. | Sunday, March 31 from 10 PM to 5 AM
- Various southbound I-35 frontage road closures between St. Edwards Drive and Woodward Street. | Monday, April 1 from 9 AM to 4 PM
- Southbound I-35 entrance ramp closed at Oltorf Street. | Monday, April 1 from 8 PM to 6 AM
- Northbound I-35 reduced to one lane between Woodward Street and Oltorf Street. | Tuesday, April 2 from 10 PM to 5 AM

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LN. TO US 290 EAST
PROJECT OVERVIEW | This project includes main-lanes and frontage road reconstruction and the addition of three new flyovers at US 183.
The project also includes reconstruction of the St. Johns Avenue Bridge, the addition of frontage road U-turns on both sides, intersection bypass lanes under St. Johns Avenue in both directions, extended entrance/exit lanes, and ramp and shoulder improvements.

- Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane nightly between Wonsley Drive and US 183. | Sunday, March 31 through Friday, April 5 from 9 PM to 5 AM
- Southbound I-35 U-turn closed nightly at US 183. | Sunday, March 31 through Friday, April 5 from 9 PM to 5 AM
- Fenelon Drive closed at I-35. Use Rutherford Lane or Hermitage Drive. | Wednesday, April 3 through Friday, April 5 from 5 AM to 5 AM

I-35 AT FM 3406
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The intersection of FM 3406 and the I-35 frontage roads are being improved, and the FM 3406 bridge over I-35 is being reconstructed.
The FM 3406 (Old Settlers Blvd) bridge will close to eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic will detour to the newly constructed U-turn Bridge.

I-35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH
PROJECT ACTIVITY | New braided ramps (where one ramp crosses over the other) are being constructed along the northbound I-35 mainlanes between Hesters Crossing and RM 620 to eliminate merging conflicts.

PROJECT OVERVIEW | The project will reconstruct the County Road 305 bridge and realign County Road 304 East to connect to the newly constructed bridge. Pedestrian enhancements will also be made within the project limits
