City Sponsors Spring Rain Barrel Sale

The City of San Marcos is partnering with PolyMart to offer affordable rain barrels and tanks to San Marcos area residents.
The 50-gallon SpringSaver Rain Barrel is $64.99 and has a flat back for placement against walls. The 54-gallon RainSaver is $84.99 and comes with a solid brass spigot and 6-foot overflow hose.
The Polymart rainwater tanks come in 100, 150, 250, and 5500-gallonsizes. Downspout diverter kits are also available for purchase.
All of the barrels and tanks are made in the USA and are easy to set up. They are available in a variety of colors to complement your home.

City of San Marcos water utility customers are eligible for a $0.50 per gallon rebate on rain barrels and tanks. You do not have to be a San Marcos resident to purchase these barrels, but the rebate is available only to City water customers.
Here’s how it works:
- Purchase your barrels or tanks online by April 15 at http://cityrainbarrelprogram.org
- Pick up your barrels at the San Marcos City Hall Complex, 630 E. Hopkins, on Earth Day, Saturday April 22 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
- City of San Marcos water customers submit rebate application along with copy of purchase receipt.
