Discovery Center To Hold Annual Fall Plant Sale

Native plants use less water and can handle our hot Texas summers better than non-native species.

The San Marcos Discovery Center, 430 Riverside Drive, will host its annual Fall Plant Sale on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. featuring a great selection of native plants, herbs, and vegetables for your garden.

Admission is free for all ages.

Native plants use less water and can handle our hot Texas summers better than non-native species. Discovery Center staff and volunteers will be available to help you pick the perfect plant to bring butterflies and hummingbirds to your garden.

All proceeds from the sale benefits the Discovery Center’s Native Plant Program.
