Hays County Announces Holiday Closures

Hays County Courthouse, San Marcos, TX – All Hays County offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays Wednesday-Friday, December 23-25 and Thursday-Friday, December 31-January 1. Commissioners Court will not be held on December 22 and December 29.

Additional closures include:

 

The County Clerk’s Office in the Government Center in San Marcos will close at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in December and will return to a 6 p.m. closing on Wednesdays beginning January 6. It will close at Noon on Thursday, December 17; the Clerk’s Kyle substation at the Precinct 2 Office will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 17 and will not close for lunch. Both offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on December 18.

 

The County Clerk’s Kyle substation will be closed from December 21-January 1.

 

The Justice of the Peace Precinct 5 Office in Buda will be closed on Wednesday, December 30.

 

The Constable Precinct 3 Office in Wimberley will close at Noon on December 22.

The Law Library in the Government Center will be closed on December 22 and December 29-30.
