Need To Know Road Closures For US 183 South •

 Monday through Thursday (7/30-8/2) from 7 am to 5 pm, there will be a flagging operation at the entrance to the Knollwood on the Colorado neighborhood at Alleyton. Watch for flaggers to enter and exit the neighborhood.

 

 Monday through Tuesday (7/30-31) from 9 am to 3 pm, Levander Loop will be reduced to one lane between E. Cesar Chavez Street and Bolm Road.

 

• Monday through Wednesday (7/30-8/1) from 9 am to 3 pm, the US 183 northbound frontage road will be reduced by one lane between Manor/Springdale Road and US 290.

 

 Monday through Friday (7/30-8/3) from 9 am to 4 pm, the US 183 southbound frontage road will be reduced by one lane between US 290 and Manor/Springdale Road.

 

• Monday through Tuesday (7/30-31) from 8 pm to 6 am, the SH 71 westbound exit ramp to US 183 southbound will be closed. Detour by exiting for the U-turn at E. Riverside Drive and heading eastbound on SH 71 to the US 183 southbound exit.

 

 Monday through Wednesday (7/30-8/1) from 8 pm to 6 am, the US 183 northbound frontage road will be reduced by one lane between Loyola Lane and Purple Sage.

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) is an independent government agency created in 2002 to improve the transportation system in Williamson and Travis counties.

According to their website, their mission is “to implement innovative, multi-modal transportation solutions that reduce congestion and create transportation choices that enhance quality of life and economic vitality.”
The Mobility Authority was created and operates under the Texas Transportation Code Chapter 370 and is authorized under state law to implement a wide range of transportation systems including roadways, airports, seaports and transit services.
The Mobility Authority is authorized to issue revenue bonds to fund projects and can utilize user fees and/or taxes to fund operations and repay bonds.
