Austin Traffic Update–San Antonio St. Construction Closures
The second phase of the Downtown Reclaimed Water main construction will begin Monday, April 25. Work will take place on San Antonio Street between Fifth and Sixth streets.
San Antonio Street will be open only to southbound traffic. The northbound lane will be closed. Work will continue in this area through May 9. Motorists and cyclists should use caution in this area.
The Main to Junction 420 project will connect to the Capitol Complex Main and will extend from West Avenue adjacent to Austin Community College Rio Grande Campus to south of Lady Bird Lake at Auditorium Shores.
