San Marcos Seeking Nominations For Planning & Zoning Vacancy

The City of San Marcos is accepting nominations to fill a vacancy on the Planning & Zoning Commission with a term ending on Feb. 28, 2017.

The City Council will vote on the appointment at the Oct. 20 meeting.

To qualify, a candidate for Planning & Zoning Commission must have lived and owned property in San Marcos for three years prior to appointment.

Citizens may fill out volunteer interest forms and send them to the City Clerk’s office by Monday, Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. to be considered for appointment. The volunteer forms are available at http://www.sanmarcostx.gov/modules/showdocument.aspx?documentid=5667 and may be filled out and emailed to Tammy Cook at tkcook@sanmarcostx.gov.

The forms may also be mailed to the City Clerk’s office, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos Texas 78666 or faxed to 855.246.9100.
