Rattler Mariachi Advances To State Competition

The San Marcos High School Mariachi Nuevo Cascabel competed at the UIL Solo and Ensemble this last weekend, February 18, and walked away with a First Division rating.

 

This qualified the group for the State UIL Mariachi Competition to be held March 10-11, 2017, at Southwest High School in San Antonio.

 

Director Juan Cavazos said, “For a first-year program, it is an incredible feat!”
