Kyle P&Z To Discuss Character Area, Future Land Use Map Assignments

Tonight, the Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a workshop meeting to discuss the 2010 Comprehensive Plan.

The commission will discuss specifically the commissioners’ research into the plan’s Character Areas and Future Land Use Map assignments.

According to the agenda, the goal of the discussion is to provide direction for staff to make the final draft of edits for public consideration.

During the Oct. 13 meeting, the each commissioner accepted responsibility for a detailed review of two or sometimes three of the character area descriptions in the 2010 Comprehensive Plan.

Commisioners would compare and contract that information with the application of the info on the Future Land Use Map, according to a staff memo.

The Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission will convene virtually for the workshop at 6:30 PM.
