Three Juveniles, One Adult Arrested In Connection To Buda Homicide

On Jan. 28,  the Hays County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division with the assistance of the Hays County Sheriff’s Office Repeat Offender Program detained three juvenile suspects and arrested one adult in relation to a homicide.

The incident occurred in the 6900 block of Sunfield Parkway in Buda, Texas on Jan. 21, 2021.

The juvenile suspects were all detained and processed into the Hays County Juvenile Detention Center.

The adult arrested is identified as Jason Oliver Martinez (DOB: 10/07/2003).

Martinez and three Juveniles all from Austin, Texas have been charged with Capital Murder in the shooting death of Giancarlo Arman Perez of Buda, Texas.

As of the writing of this release, Martinez was still in custody. No bond has been set. These detentions and arrests were the results of numerous witness interviews here in Hays County as well as in the City of Austin.

Sheriff Gary Cutler extends his sincere gratitude to deputies and detectives of the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, the Austin Police Department, and the citizens who provided vital information for the swift resolution of a complex investigation.
