BREAKING NEWS: Man Arrested Undercover Investigation

Wednesday, December 16, 2015, detectives with the Hays County Narcotics Task Force wrapped up a two month long undercover investigation with the arrest of a local Wimberley resident.   
 
The subject is identified as: 
 
WILLIE CHARLES MEDLOCK, BLACK /MALE, 44 YEARS of AGE  
 
Medlock was arrested without incident and charged with various offenses, including:  2 COUNTS – MANUFACTURE/DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE FELONY 1 and STATE JAIL FELONY  
 
The Felony of the First Degree carries a possible punishment of imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for life or for any term of not more than 99 years or less than 5 years and/or a fine not to exceed $10,000.  
 
Arrest warrants filed by the detectives allege that on several occasions in October and November, 2015, Medlock met with undercover officers in the parking lot of a grocery store in Wimberley and sold methamphetamine to the undercover officers. Methamphetamine is a powerful and addictive stimulant also known as “ice”, “crank” or “crystal meth”.   
 
The case is part of an ongoing investigation and more arrests are anticipated. The Hays County Narcotics Task Force is jointly operated by the Hays County Sheriff’s Office and the San Marcos Police Department.
