Traffic shift anticipated on Winters Mill Parkway and RM 12 in Wimberley

HAYS COUNTY — Traffic on Winters Mill Parkway and RM 12 in Wimberley is anticipated to be temporarily shifted onto widened areas in the Winters Mill Parkway/RM 12 intersection on Monday, April 18 during daylight hours.

The shift is necessary to accommodate milling and overlay operations in the intersection. During this operation the existing surface will be milled and a new ride surface will be placed in the intersection. The left turn lane approaches will be removed during this operation.

At the end of the day, traffic will be restored to its original configuration. Message boards will be in place to advise traffic of the upcoming operation.

Patrol cars and officers will be present during the traffic shift. This operation will occur on a school holiday in an effort to minimize traffic impacts.
