Grande Cares Sponsors Turkeys Tackling Hunger

Hays County Food Bank is very pleased to announce the continued support by Grande Cares. This year, the Grande Cares members and Grande Communications raised enough donations in order to be recognized as a Platinum Sponsor for the Turkeys Tackling Hunger campaign. $4,400 was donated which will help provide 146 holiday meals to families in need throughout the Hays County area.

The Grande Cares Club has donated more than $2 million in grants since it was started in 2000. Community relationships are extremely important to the employees of Grande Communications, and it is with this in mind that they created the grant program to provide support in the communities they serve. Employees are encouraged to volunteer their own time at various nonprofits in their areas, and our local Grande Communications has held numerous food drives for the Hays County Food Bank throughout the years.
