Kinder Morgan Releases Statement, Update On Suspicious Package At PHP Site
The suspicious package left at the Permian Highway Pipeline (PHP) worksite is still under an active investigation, and its contents are still being assessed by law enforcement agencies.
“We are thankful for the quick response of local law enforcement, and we are assisting in the ongoing investigation into this criminal activity,” Kinder Morgan said.
The construction area has been thoroughly inspected by PHP and law enforcement.
After confirming the safety of the construction site and their crews, Kinder Morgan resumed full construction activities Wednesday, according to officials.
“PHP will continue to investigate and prosecute any individuals who are discovered to be threatening the safety or security of our employees and crews,” Kinder Morgan said in a statement.
