everything they can to minimize disruptions.
I-35 CORRIDOR ROAD CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
SUNDAY 8/17 – SATURDAY 8/24
I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The project will reconstruct the bridge structures at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, as well as the frontage road bridge over Williamson Creek.
New U-turn bridges will be added in both directions at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, and the I-35 mainlanes will be widened to incorporate shoulders and extended entrance/exit lanes to allow for better merging.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements are also being made, and new safety lighting is being installed.

- Northbound I-35 right lane closed between the William Cannon Dr. exit and Nelms St. | 10 PM until 5 AM Sunday, August 19 through Thursday, August 23
- Southbound I-35 left lane closed between Little Texas Ln. and the William Cannon Dr. entrance ramp. | 10 PM until 6 AM Sunday, August 19 through Thursday, August 23
- Various northbound I-35 frontage road closures between Nelms Dr. and Stassney Ln. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 20

- Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between William Cannon Dr. and the next entrance ramp. | From 9 AM until 3 PM Wednesday, August 22

I-35 AT OLTORF ST.
PROJECT OVERVIEW | Improvements include the reconstruction of the Oltorf Street bridge, improving entrance/exit ramps and frontage roads, constructing new extended entrance/exit lanes for mainlanes and ramps, and adding U-turns in both directions at Oltorf Street.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements will also be made along the I-35 frontage roads in each direction within the project limits.

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LN. TO US 290 EAST
PROJECT OVERVIEW | This project includes main-lanes and frontage road reconstruction and the addition of three new flyovers at US 183.
The project also includes reconstruction of the St. Johns Avenue Bridge, the addition of frontage road U-turns on both sides, intersection bypass lanes under St. Johns Avenue in both directions, extended entrance/exit lanes, and ramp and shoulder improvements.

- Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between US 183 and Rundberg Ln. The Rundberg Ln. exit (#241) will also be closed. | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, August 19 through Thursday, August 23
- Various southbound I-35 frontage road closures between Huntland Dr. and US 290 E. | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, August 20 through Friday, August 24

I-35 AT FM 3406
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The intersection of FM 3406 and the I-35 frontage roads are being improved, and the FM 3406 bridge over I-35 is being reconstructed.
The FM 3406 (Old Settlers Blvd) bridge will close to eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic will detour to the newly constructed U-turn Bridge. | Until summer 2018, weather permitting.

I–35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH
PROJECT OVERVIEW | New braided ramps (where one ramp crosses over the other) are being constructed along the northbound I-35 mainlanes between Hester’s Crossing and RM 620 to eliminate merging conflicts.
The northbound and southbound intersections of US 79 and the I-35 frontage roads are also being reconstructed to add a third left-turn for westbound US 79.
