After pressure from residents and social media, Kyle city council canceled their weekend trip to Galveston at around 8 PM Thursday night.

The city updated their agendas to read canceled, however, the city did not update the dates and times on when the new “canceled” agendas were posted for public viewing.

The Kyle City Council will head to Galveston, Texas, this week for their annual visioning workshop.

According to the agenda, the meeting will be held at Viewfinder’s Terrace, 7 Hope Blvd, at 12:30 PM. 

The agenda does not provide a zoom link to allow residents to view the meeting nor state how it will be broadcasted if it will be.

However, the council is slated to hold a public comment period as per usual.
