KYLE, TEXAS — The City of Kyle is calling for volunteers to register for the 37th Annual Great Texas River Cleanup happening from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 5.

The City of Kyle has 100 volunteer spots available along the trails at Waterleaf Park, 628 Abundance Lane.

Volunteers will meet at Waterleaf Park at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast tacos and will be provided gloves, bags, and a commemorative T-shirt.

Volunteers should dress accordingly and wear close-toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle. Pizza will be provided to all volunteers at 11:30 a.m. at Waterleaf Park.

During the cleanup, volunteers are asked to place filled trash bags as close to the trails as possible, so that Parks and Recreation Department Staff can easily and safely collect them.
