• 4 Road Construction Projects You Need To Know About •

 

  • Tuesday through Friday (1/2-5) from 9 am to 3 pm, Manor/Springdale Road under US 183 will be reduced by one lane. In addition one lane will be closed on the US 183 frontage roads in both directions between US 290 and Manor/Springdale Road.

 

  • Wednesday (1/3) from 9 am to 3 pm, Levander Loop will be closed between E. Cesar Chavez Street to Bolm Road. Follow detour signs to northbound US 183.

 

  • Wednesday through Friday (1/3-5) from 8 pm to 6 am, Manor/Springdale Road in both directions underneath US 183 will be closed. Follow signed detours.

 

  • Continuously between Friday, January 5, 2018, at 8 pm till Monday, January 8, 2018, at 6 am, eastbound Thompson Lane will be closed at US 183. All traffic to detour to Dalton Lane.

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) is an independent government agency created in 2002 to improve the transportation system in Williamson and Travis counties.

According to their website, their mission is “to implement innovative, multi-modal transportation solutions that reduce congestion and create transportation choices that enhance quality of life and economic vitality.”

The Mobility Authority was created and operates under the Texas Transportation Code Chapter 370 and is authorized under state law to implement a wide range of transportation systems including roadways, airports, seaports and transit services.

The Mobility Authority is authorized to issue revenue bonds to fund projects and can utilize user fees and/or taxes to fund operations and repay bonds.
