Saturday’s Game Will Be Unlike Any Other

It’s no secret to San Marcos residents that the Texas State football team isn’t holding the best record this season. Currently, they have 2 wins and 9 losses. The reality became more apparent yesterday when an article was released by CBS shaming the Bobcats for being in the bottom 25 but recognizing that they have one last game to play that they could win.

This Saturday, December 3, the Texas State Bobcats will be playing the Arkansas State Red Wolves at 6:30 PM. The game will be held in San Marcos at Bobcat Stadium. Admission for students is free with your Texas State ID card and general admission is $15.00. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

The Bobcats need you this Saturday to come out and show your support. To encourage game attendance at Saturday’s game, students will have the chance to win a number of door prizes.

The list of holiday items that attendees have a chance to win include $5,000 in tuition money, $1,000 towards “Students of the Game” that will be given to the loudest group of 5 students, an Xbox One Console with a Madden NFL ‘17 bundle, a 40-inch HD LED TV, a portable Bluetooth Speaker, and Kendra Scott Earrings.

The team also has 50 dozen cookies to give away.

In addition, they will be holding an Ugly Sweater contest, and the first 2,000 fans at the game will get a T-Shirt.

The tailgate will be held before the game per usual. Don’t start too early because the game starts at 6:30PM and you have to attend to enjoy the holiday giveaways.
