The home portion of the 2018 schedule is slated to begin Aug. 30-Sept. 1 with the annual Creeds & Crests Classic. Season ticket holders will be treated to matches featuring UTSA, James Madison, Incarnate Word, and Abilene Christian.

Texas State will then play host on Sept. 8 to a Kentucky squad that was ranked inside the top 5 in the nation last year and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2018 NCAA Championship.

The first home Sun Belt Conference action will be Sept. 28 against Little Rock.

The Bobcats are coming off a 2017 campaign that saw the team post a 25-10 overall record with a 14-2 record in the SBC. TXST coach Karen Chisum is set to enter her 39th season as the helm, and she has an all-time record of 868-543-3.

She is the second active longest-tenured coach across all three NCAA divisions. She is also currently the fifth winningest active head coach in all of NCAA Division I, and she is the 11th winningest NCAA Division I coach all-time.
