#SMTX Best Friends For Life Program Ready To Kick Off For Spring Break
The City of San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Texas State University’s Therapeutic Recreation graduate students, will host the inclusive recreation program, Best Friends For Life (BFFL), starting Monday, Mar. 2 at the San Marcos Rec Hall, 170 Charles Austin Dr.
This program is free and open to youth, ages 3-13, of all ability levels.
The program will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. every Monday for five weeks, except during the week of Spring Break. The last date of the program is Monday, Apr. 6.
Participants are encouraged to bring a best friend, such as their mom, dad, brother, sister, school friend or neighbor.
Activities including yoga, crafts, and drumming will be offered during the program. Participants will also have the opportunity to go swimming and horseback riding.
