Spaces Available For San Marcos Guadalupe River Family Camping Trip

Tents, cooking equipment, bedding and Park Ranger instruction will be included, but participants must provide transportation to and from the campsite.

The City of San Marcos’ Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with Texas State University’s Department of Health and Human Performance to host the 2018 Guadalupe River Camping Trip.

This is a free family camp out for up to 20 middle school-aged students and their families at Guadalupe River State Park.

The trip will take place on Saturday, April 7 through Sunday, April 8. Tents, cooking equipment, bedding and Park Ranger instruction will be included, but participants must provide transportation to and from the campsite.

A $25 refundable deposit is required to reserve a spot. Those interested in participating may register online at www.sanmarcostx.gov/activesmtx or by calling the Parks and Recreation office at 512.393.8400. The deadline to register is Monday, March 26.
