UPDATED: Hays County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help Identifying Suspect In Wimberley Bank Robbery

An armed robbery occurred at the Broadway Bank located off of 14710 Ranch Road 12 in Wimberley, Texas, at approximately 9:16 AM.

The suspect entered the bank and was described as:

Possibly a White male, wearing a gray hoodie, a flesh-colored mask, blue jeans, wearing a tan or grayish baseball cap, and carrying a black bag. He was also wearing black gloves and was armed with a black handgun with a green stripe on the top of it.

The suspect was last seen running north towards an adjacent field next to the bank.

There were no customers in the bank and none of the bank employees were injured during the robbery.

If anyone believes they have information regarding this case contact the Hays County Sheriff’s Office at 512-393-7896 and speak with the Criminal Investigations Division or they may contact the Hays County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-324-TIPS (8477).

The Texas Bankers Foundation has offered a $5,000 reward for information that would lead to the arrest and indictment of the individual who robbed the Broadway Bank branch in Wimberley on June 20.
