BREAKING: Emergency Operations Center, San Marcos, TX – CLARIFICATION OF PRESIDENTIAL DISASTER DECLARATION STATUS

Hays County received erroneous information earlier today that a Presidential Disaster Declaration had been received for Hays County’s flood and storm damage. That is not the case, rather, the communication from the President’s Office was one of general support. The County and State are continuing to work to gather information to present to the federal government.
