for Week of February 24 – March 1
I-35 AT POSEY ROAD
PROJECT OVERVIEW | This project will construct a new overpass on I-35 over Posey Road, add two new U-turns in each direction at Posey Road, perform ramp reversals and convert two-way frontage roads to one-way.
Currently, the I-35 mainlanes go under Posey Road. The new configuration will have the I-35 mainlanes going over Posey Road.

I-35 FROM STASSNEY LANE TO WILLIAM CANNON DRIVE
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The project will reconstruct the bridge structures at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, as well as the frontage road bridge over Williamson Creek.
New U-turn bridges will be added in both directions at Stassney Lane and William Cannon Drive, and the I-35 mainlanes will be widened to incorporate shoulders and extended entrance/exit lanes to allow for better merging.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements are also being made, and new safety lighting is being installed.

- Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between the William Cannon Dr exit and Boggy Creek Dr | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, February 25 through Friday, March 1
- Southbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed between William Cannon Dr and Foremost Dr | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, February 25 through Friday, March 1
- Northbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed at Nelms Dr | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, February 25 through Friday, March 1
- Westbound William Cannon Dr right turn lane closed at I-35 | Until March 1

I-35 AT OLTORF ST.
PROJECT OVERVIEW | Improvements include the reconstruction of the Oltorf Street bridge, improving entrance/exit ramps and frontage roads.
Additionally, construction of new extended entrance/exit lanes for mainlanes and ramps, and adding U-turns in both directions at Oltorf Street.
Bicycle and pedestrian enhancements will also be made along the I-35 frontage roads in each direction within the project limits.

- Southbound I-35 frontage road reduced to one lane between St. Edward Dr and Woodward St | 9 AM until 3 PM Monday, February 25 through Friday, March 1
- Northbound I-35 frontage road left lane closed at Royal Hill Dr | 8 PM until 5 AM Wednesday, February 26 through Thursday, February 28

I-35 FROM RUNDBERG LN. TO US 290 EAST
PROJECT OVERVIEW | This project includes main-lanes and frontage road reconstruction and the addition of three new flyovers at US 183.
The project also includes reconstruction of the St. Johns Avenue Bridge, the addition of frontage road U-turns on both sides, intersection bypass lanes under St. Johns Avenue in both directions, extended entrance/exit lanes, and ramp and shoulder improvements.

- I-35 left lane closed in both directions between US 290 E and US 183 | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, February 24 through Thursday, February 28
- Southbound I-35 reduced to one lane between Wonsley Dr and St. Johns Ave | 11 PM until 5 AM Sunday, February 24 through Thursday, February 28
- Southbound I-35 frontage road right lane closed between US 183 and St. Johns Ave | 9 PM until 5 AM Tuesday, February 26 through Thursday, February 28
- Fenelon Dr closed east of I-35. Use Rutherford Ln or Hermitage Dr | 9 PM until 5 AM Sunday, February 24 through Friday, March 1

I-35 AT FM 3406
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The intersection of FM 3406 and the I-35 frontage roads are being improved, and the FM 3406 bridge over I-35 is being reconstructed.
The FM 3406 (Old Settlers Blvd) bridge will close to eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic will detour to the newly constructed U-turn Bridge.

I-35 FROM US 79 TO SH 45 NORTH
PROJECT ACTIVITY | New braided ramps (where one ramp crosses over the other) are being constructed along the northbound I-35 mainlanes between Hesters Crossing and RM 620 to eliminate merging conflicts.

I-35 AT COUNTY ROAD 305
PROJECT OVERVIEW | The project will reconstruct the County Road 305 bridge and realign County Road 304 East to connect to the newly constructed bridge. Pedestrian enhancements will also be made within the project limits
