These Exits Close To Accommodate Traffic For Black Friday

San Marcos’s first responders will increase their presence and traffic control by the San Marcos Outlet Malls over the Black Friday shopping weekend.

The southbound I-35-Centerpoint Road exit ramp (Exit 200) and the northbound I-35-McCarty Lane exit ramp (Exit 201) will be closed from Thursday, Nov. 28, at 12 PM until 10 PM Saturday, Nov. 30, for the Black Friday After-Thanksgiving shopping weekend.

Additionally, northbound IH 35 exits at Posey Road and Centerpoint Road are currently closed due to construction by TXDOT.

Northbound I-35 motorists should exit York Creek Road (Exit 196) to access the Outlet Malls.  Northbound drivers may also utilize an alternate route from York Creek Road to Old Bastrop Highway to access the Outlet Malls from the east side.

Southbound I-35 motorists should exit McCarty Lane to access the Outlet Malls.

Police presence will increase at the outlet malls from Thursday evening through Sunday evening. Other officers will be on traffic control duty on Centerpoint Road.
