Update 4:57 PM: Police Search for Missing Person

Update 4:57 PM: Raymond Casas has been found by family members at University Medical Center-Brackenridge. San Marcos Police have called off the search at the request of Casas’ family.

San Marcos Police are searching for a disabled man last seen on Wednesday outside of his home.
 
On Wednesday Jan. 20, 2016 Raymond Casas walked outside at 705 River Road, San Marcos, to take out the trash and did not return.
He is disabled and has diabetes and schizophrenia. Casas takes medication for both conditions, but did not have any of his medication, nor his cell phone or wallet, when he left his home.
 
Casas is described as a Hispanic Male, 5’6”, 222 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. He is missing several front teeth, missing his right big toe and has several tattoos, including one on his left arm with the name “Deborah” that has been partially covered.
 
Casas was last seen wearing a gray sleeveless tee shirt, black baggy shorts, red tennis shoes and white socks with gray toes.
