On Thursday, San Marcos Police arrested three suspects on charges of burglary of a vehicle and engaging in organized crime among others.
Shortly after 1 AM, SMPD received a 911 call reporting that a resident had heard glass breaking and was now seeing flashlights in a nearby vacant home on W Hutchinson.
According to officials, when officers arrived, two suspects fled on foot while the third suspect remained inside the residence. All three were ultimately apprehended.
Micah Alan Bean, Micah Grant and Deqoriyahnn Ishlayeed Hawkins were arrested on five counts of burglary of a vehicle, one count of engaging in organized crime and one count of criminal trespass. Full list of charges can be found here.
Police said the suspects had property in their possession from several vehicles in the area that had been burglarized. One suspect also had a handgun.
As of 11:38 AM Friday, all three remained in Hays County Jail with bonds totaling around $18,000.
